Admissions
Becoming a resident
Admission will be granted following assessment by staff at Livingstone House with follow up care planning as required.
You can be referred by a healthcare professional or GP, or you can simply call us yourself and we will make an initial assessment over the phone. If you fulfil our criteria, we will invite you to come to us on a specific day and time. You MUST attend when we tell you, or you may lose your place with us.
The admissions process
- Discuss your needs and situation with our admissions team to determine the best way to approach your admission
- All residents undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine their needs and requirements for their stay at Livingstone House
- A management plan is created, in conjunction with the service user to most efficiently achieve a substance free state
- Residents will start out on their 12-step plan, with the full support and care of the Livingstone House team behind them
Admission types

- Given that it is a charity bed placement, there is a long waiting list for the beds. You will need to be prepared for up to a six month wait. If you have an urgent need, you would need to consider our other options.
